Overview
The interactive kiosks accompanying the Tribal Huts display of the Rourkela Tribal Museum offer visitors an engaging introduction to eight tribal communities of Sundargarh district — Chuktia Bhunjia (PVTG), Saora (PVTG), Santal, Oraon, Munda, Kisan, Paudi Bhuyan (PVTG) and Gadaba. Designed and developed by Myth Interactives, the kiosks extend the museum experience beyond the exhibits, presenting insights into the communities’ lifestyles, traditional attire, ornaments, occupations, beliefs, music, dance and changing social landscapes through interactive digital content.
The kiosks provide multilingual access in Odia, English and Hindi, enabling visitors of diverse backgrounds to explore the cultural heritage of the tribal communities of Odisha. The museum was inaugurated by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu on 21 April 2026, and has since then, emerged as a major cultural attraction in the steel city. Myth is grateful and honoured to be part of such a prestigious national project, with two more installations, a 120ft Interactive Wall and an Interactive Demographic Map at this museum.
