About the Project
The Interactive Map on Tribal Communities residing in Odisha is a step forward on the traditional map. The map combines a large format backlit display with an interactive application to inform visitors about the diverse tribal communities of Odisha and the districts in which they reside.
Developed on the Android platform, the interactive mobile application is installed on mobile phones secured to the display. Within the application the visitor can find information on each tribal community, its language, major occupations and also a map of location and photographs.
