About the Project:
A series of 10 minute documentaries on the Tribal Dances of India produced for the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India on the occasion of Aazadi ka Amrut Mahostsav, celebrating 75 years of India’s Independence.

The dances were filmed in tribal settlements in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Odisha and Rajasthan. Each 10 minute documentary, produced in English and Hindi – has also been edited into a 5 min version. A publication on the Tribal Dances of India is planned as a companion volume to this series.
